I am still at it
Greetings friends

Apologies for not keeping up with these things, as technology is a bit tricky for me.
I have just completed updating my page, and introduced the works from 2010.
I am missing a piece, so I will get my tech guys to correct that soon.

It is so nice to know that people are finding my site and blog. It leaves a good feeling to know that there are people interersted in my art.

I have been speaking with several people, and have been getting some great help.
Hopefully a showing soon. If so I will get some images and details up when this happens.

I have removed all prices from my images and have taken on a case-by-case policy, and I have been told too many times that I am charging too much.
So I will lower my prices, but I will maintain my "Private Sales Inquiry policy", so if you are interersted in purchasing a piece, I will still require an inquiry first.
I can be contacted through the Conatct Artist page at my main site.

More to come
David

A little about me
This is the unlikely story of the resumption of a dream that has been in remission for almost 30 years. David Flynn graduated with a BFA degree from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee in 1971. He then moved with his wife and newborn daughter to the San Francisco Bay area, to pursue a career in painting and sculpture. After several years in that local art world including a stint turning out paintings for a Bank of America interior-decorating firm, they moved to Portland, OR in 1977. These were hard times in the fine-arts creative community, and gradually his career changed in order to contribute to the family income. Divorce came in 1983, precipitating his solo move to Los Angeles. Instead of returning to his artistic instincts, he pursued a successful career in heating and cooling sales for approximately 20 years. Following retirement from these non-art related endeavors he moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico. In this media-friendly environment his artistic nature re-emerged, he picked up chalk, pencil, and paper, and returned to a full-time pursuit of creating fine-art pieces. For the past two years (2007 and 2008) he has been engaged in producing what he considers, “The best work I have ever done.” Most recently he was the subject of a one-man art exhibit at El Farol Tavern on Upper Canyon Road. He strives to continue to creative success and abundance, finally, on the road to fulfilling his dreams

So let's begin.
